Acupuncture Refresher and Update

A 7-Hour Medical Acupuncture Needling Protocol Workshop for All Pain Problems

This one-day course will be offered in Fort Collins, Colorado. More information will be posted when it becomes available, so be sure to check the website regularly.

Program

In this program, attendees will review medical acupuncture principles and gain the opportunity to improve their pain-relieving skills by developing effective, precise, and evidence-informed acupuncture treatment protocols.

Medical acupuncture approaches taught in this course will consider the following:

  • the physiologic disruption underlying illness
  • neurophysiologic pathways that promote recovery and restoration
  • acupuncture points that activate those avenues.

The workshop format will engage students through a question-and-answer format. Course notes will encourage students to draw connections between acupuncture points and key neuroanatomic sites, literally and figuratively.

Students will, by the end of the workshop, gain confidence in their ability to create elegant and sophisticated treatment protocols in keeping with the principles and practice of medical acupuncture.
